"Radio Like You've Never Seen It!"

CELEBRATES “THE GREEN”


On Monday evening, 7PM on March 19th, Stage Shadows, Inc. “Radio Like You’ve Never Seen It!” celebrates The Irish with a live recording of Bill Dudley’s searing new play, The Wearing of the Green, Part II at The Museum of Television & Radio in midtown Manhattan. The hour-long production, with live sound effects and live music, continues the life and times of Tammany Hall overlord Patrick Mulbaney as he rises through Tammany’s ranks, and back in time to the arrival of the Mulbaneys to the brutal slums of Five Points.

Gabe Hakvaag directs the cast of Irish and American actors. Rebecca Weiner is the violinist. Adrian Cosentini is Sound Designer for the production.

The performance begins sharply at 7PM in the MT&R’s Mark Goodson Theatre, 25 West 52nd Street (between Fifth and Sixth Avenues). This special performance is for an invited audience and space is limited. An adjacent studio with a large screen is being provided for an overflow audience. Reservation number is (212) 604-4612. Stage Shadows continues its fourth season of recording live at The Museum of Television &Radio with this March 19th production, adding one more play to the 40 so far produced, of which 37 are audio theatre premieres. The production airs subsequently on Classic Radio, WFUV-FM (90.7FM), on Sunday night at midnight, and simultaneously on the station’s website, link through www.stageshadows.com.
